starter ?
truck starts fine when warm but when cold turn key clicks 2 or 3 second pause then starter kicks in starter sounds fine after it kicks in replaced selinoid didnt help any help would be greatly appericeated

What "solenoid" did you replace? The one on the starter? The thing on the fender near the battery is the starter relay. Have you checked the ground wire to make sure its terminals are clean and tight? If you start it with the headlights on, do they go out? Does it do it EVERY time, or just sometimes? If everything else is good, then the starter is the problem.
