Time for new Engine mounts

Seller of my 66 F100 included new mounts for the Ford 400. 2 months since we bought the truck I decided to dig into it. Engine hoist made this job a piece of cake even though space under there is tight. The old mounts were trashed.

Yes

That rivet was the only thing holding it together. Initially I thought I would never be able to rest the top most of the 3 bolts to the block, it was hidden into the rubber cause it had semi collapsed. Once I hoisted it a bit the bolt head was clear. That was a relief. I work in slow motion. Lots of thinking, rarely charge ahead. I used thick nylon marine line wrapped under the crank Pully so I could rock the engine while supported by the hoist.
