My 56 has these terrible mounts people should be hung fir work like this.
Has anyone got pics of the original mounts?
I'm running a 289 and will be replacing the front with a jag front end.
Question is when I replace the jag front will it change where the mounts go.
The original mounts for the original engine were on the bellhousing, plus one at the front directly under the crank pulley. They won't do you any good with your present engine.

The answer to your question is, it's very possible. There's no way to know for sure until you get there. You may find that moving the engine forward or backward, up or down even a half an inch will make a big difference fitting the suspension assembly. Don't try to fit other things around your current combination. It will also give you a chance to make some prettier mounts, too. Cut it all out and start from scratch is my best 2c.
The mounts are like the ones that you can get from mid fifty.I have been thinking about mounts like that since the universal mount has a is like a cross-member and after lowering and moving axle forward they are close to hitting axle. Like ray said just need to be cleaned up a bit to look better but nothing wrong with them...
Those engine mounts are well clear of where the jag crossmember will be, you should be able to use them as is. They look plenty good to me, a little grinding will clean them up.
