New cluster programming fixes couple things and new features
If you get the cluster reprogrammed or replaced under the recall you no longer have to scroll through “ my view” each time you start the truck . I also put it in tow haul mode today and it changes the look of your screen to . Tach goes as a bar graph at the top , and a separate towing screen opens on the left side . No longer need to scroll to the trailer towing screen. I like it !
I had my 2023 F350 (23V506 IPC) recall done today in my driveway by my local Ford dealer and was able to watch the repair process. In the beginning when first notified by Ford of this recall, I assumed that the screen was going to be replaced but turns out it is a (ECU) control module that gets replaced. The original dash board cluster screen stays in place. The control module is behind the large 12" screen in the center of the dash. Most of the dash trim pieces get removed to get to the control module. Once replaced with the updated ECU the truck gets a reflash of pre-existing programming parameters, miles, settings etc. It was a little disturbing to see my dash board trim pieces laying all over the front seats while the Tech was doing the replacement and re-program. But all turned out well and its back together with nothing broken.
There are some updated screen displays like mentioned by the thread author and a few new chimes but have only driven the truck about 20 miles so far. So far I like the change..

Thats cool they did it in your driveway! LOL Did the miles on your screen match what they were when the procedure started? I gained 200 miles back when they did mine. My odo was 7719 when I dropped it off and was 7588 when I picked it up. They sent a video of mine being done and I didn't look to close. lol Like yours there were pieces everywhere and my speakers didn't work when I got it back but it was an easy fix.

Bringing this back to the top... mine goes in the shop on Thursday. What are the "new" chimes you mention?
Wondering if this fixes the issue with the fuel economy display for Canada, nice that it fixes the pia reset every time you start the truck. Gauge only went to 8l per 100k which is over 30mpg so it basically showed nothing unless you took your foot off the gas and coasted.

I was going to ask this same question. Those who had the recall done: When metric units are selected in general settings, does the instantaneous fuel bar graph still read 0-8 liters per 100 km or has it been changed to something more like 0-60 liters per 100 km?
If your bored one day could you set the gauge to metric and take a pic of the fuel economy gauge curious to see if that issue has been corrected as well.It looks like there getting back to what the 22 gauge looked like.
