Truck clutch equalizer

I have a 1951 F3 I have the clutch shaft for it but it looks like it was re-clocked does anyone have one that could tell the position of the frame side and the clutch shaft side?
Thanks

  • Heavy Duty 3 Speed (Center Shift)
  • Heavy Duty 3 Speed (Remote Shift)
  • 4 Speed Crash Box?
  • Something else?

You can see on Cruise's picture, the trans end is at about 45° (he also has a T5).
This is the only picture I have of the other end, should give you an idea of orientation. The frame end is angled to the rear, not quite 45°..

Ok thanks, with that end in that position do you have any idea where the clutch fork would be? Would it be back all the way towards the transmission or be somewhere between the transmission and the fingers of the pressure plate. This would give me an idea of the orientation of the end that goes on the clutch fork shaft.
Thanks

That particular truck is missing the return spring, so it is probably not as far back as it could go.

you say clocked are you refering to rotational ore n tation? please forgive my spelling.
I haad issue with my 51 M3 going back together after getting fly wheel ground, new clutch assm., also the shaft an bushings goin thru bell housing, and using the trans.from a F5(T98)
The issue was the clutch adjuster(little u shaped gizmo with a 7/16-20 tapped hole in it )was not long enough to adjust proper like, my cure was machining a longer gizmo for thee adjuster.

I blamed my issues with(perhaps?) the new shaft for throw fork was not perfect with the "clocking" of the shaft and throw out fork, plus the grinding of flywheel.
What is your issue?
Greg

Hi guys, thanks for all your help! I ended up re-clocking it (position) 3 times and shorting the adjusting rod off of pedal.
Thanks again
Mike
