Does anyone recognize which spark plug repair insert I have in my V10? The insert came out clean so I’m hoping I can match what used and clean and reinstall a new one.
Looks like one of those prone-to-fail Helicoil "save-a-thread" inserts. They're the el-cheapo solution that sometimes work and too often fail. About $30-40 at the local parts store.
If you want it fixed permanently, use a Timesert, CalVan/Snap-on/Lock-'n'Stitch.
