Pretty sure it is 1/4" torx... mine has spray-in liner all over it, so I can't say for 100% sure but I'm fairly sure this is it (fits better than 5/16 anyways). hth

Mine were a 55, but only one came out using the torx, the rest I had to drill out, a real PITA!

I found out mine is a 50 cause I had one. I don't think I will be able to loosen any with out breaking the torx so Its drill time. What a Sh%ty design. The one place they should use a stainless bolt...

oh man, last time I run outside w/o coffee first... I grabbed the bag of allen wrench sockets from the roller cabinet, not the torx bit sockets..... uggghhhh my bad. sorry. kinda weird how they fit in there w/ all that black bedliner stuff down in the recess - sorta looked like it fit w/o thinking about it! LOL

May I suggest that you soak the ------ out of them with PB- blaster from underneath a day or two before you try to take them out!
It always works for me !
if you have ever broken a torx 's bolt in a door latch ,you'll know what I mean ,I soak them from now on.

I have been with kroil. Its just that the old SD'd used a 50 its just too small to get any real torque on it. I'm gonna get replacements tomorrow.
