I guess I'll be "that guy" and say if you're only towing 3k skip this truck all together and look at an F150 that's in better shape with 1/4 of the miles and minimal idle time.

So I actually bought a similar truck. mine was a 2012, 110k miles, 7000 hours of idle time on the clock. It was owned by the state of NM and had extensive by the book records from dealers. I bought the truck, drove it three years, 80k miles, plowed snow in the winter and it was my daily. We handed that truck down to our son in Kansas who needed a good farm/utility truck. It still runs great with over 220k miles on it and well over 7000 hrs of idle time.
I wouldn't hesitate for a second based on my experience, I would buy another truck with those hours.
