stock tires. Less weight than what was in it before. Took out old transfer case and a 100 pound chain. Sorry I don't no how windy it is out day to day.
Running warmer than usual? Check your radiator. I have a Ranger that was overheating after I replaced the thermostat (That sucker was LONG gone! Came out in pieces!) so I got a little more invasive. Pulled out the radiator, looked at it through the coils, thinking, "Huh. I don't see much light coming through there." Took a garden hose to it and all kinds of filth came out of it. Afterward, it ran nice and cool.
(EDIT: In case I'm not being clear, the radiator was clogged up with dirt somehow and wasn't getting enough airflow. I cleaned up the coils on the outside, not the inside.)
Yeah, ironically, the bad thermostat was actually keeping it from overheating all the time. It'd only boil over now and then, but after I replaced it? Had me worried it was something worse like a blockage in the engine block. Can't tell you how relieved I was.

it's not running that hot. The Guage use to be pointed a little to the left now its straight up the middle maybe a tiny bit to the right. I'm just wondering with the new pumps if it pumps more gas than the old ones. I did have lean codes until I put in the new pumps.

When did you notice this problem?
outside Temps can cause lower mpg.... and I looked up Perth Ontario... and from the 4th to the 10th when you posted it was anywhere from 14 to 32. So thar could have an effect.

pretty much since the new pumps in May. It hasn't been very cold yet. The ground doesn't even have any frost yet. No ice what so ever on lakes. It was 10 Celsius friday and Saturday. So your saying if it does get cold, I will be getting less mpg? Good thing gas is cheaper in the winter.

yes... I lose roughly 2 mpg in the winter.
Also... i just thought of this. And it really doesn't have to do with the loss of mpg but calculation of mpg in general.
Are you using Canadian gallons for this mpg?

I use a thing on the internet km to liters and it shows as US gallons.
