Well there goes my theory. Perhaps the front springs of gas tremors, 250 or 350, are the same for the same year since the Tremor package does bump up the GVWR of the F250 to over 10k lb anyway.
Pretty sure the same is true of non Tremor 250 and 350 without any additional pkgs. For example a CCSB 4x 6.7l comes with 5200lb springs in both 250 and 350.
Didn’t get a measurement but the Tremor spring was about 2-1/2” taller than the non Tremor spring. It basically had an extra coil. Again both sets of springs were from trucks with the 4800lb rating.
does anyone know, are the 250 and 350 tremor front coils the same?
how about gas vs, diesel?
I don't know for sure, but I think the only differences are in spring rate. 4800,5200,5600 are all spring rates found on Tremors. I don't think you'll see 4800 on a diesel though.
I’d definitely be interested in some tremor springs. IMO it’s the best way to lessen the rake. I’d be ok with the stance the OP truck has. Might even opt for the diesel tremor springs for the stiffer ride and a little more ride height. Now just have to figure out where to source them.
So, my buddy wants some tremor springs for his non Tremor 4800 lb front axle brand new '24 F250. The correct code for the Tremor spring is LC3C-5310-AVB. But when I go to Ford parts website, that doesn't show up in the parts lookup. Suggestions? Maybe get the VIN number of a Ford Tremor 4800lb '23-'24 and look up the OEM part via normal search? Or does anyone have the actual ford part ordering number? Thanks.
Info for someone wondering about Tremor springs on a non Tremor truck, or possibly what your Tremor truck might look like with 2” rear blocks instead of the Tremor’s 3” rear block. I picked up some takeoff 2023 gas Tremor springs for my 23 non Tremor gas 350. I installed them this morning and ended up with about 1-1/4” of height over the stock springs. I kept my stock rear blocks which are 2” blocks and I am happy with how the truck turned out. I believe the Tremor springs are either softer or maybe because of the extra length help the front end ride softer than with the stock springs. The softer ride was a pleasant surprise. The stock rake was a little more than 2-1/2”, now it is a little less than 1-1/2”, measured at the fender openings.
We also have a 21 diesel Tremor and I would say the ride is now very comparable whereas before the front of the non Tremor gas truck rode a little harsher than the Tremor does. The tag on my stock springs says LC3C-5310-ANB, the tag on the Tremor springs says LC3C-5310-AVB. I also have Fox 2.0’s for up to 1.5” level and I confirmed there is plenty shock travel for the longer springs.
Looks Good! Where did you get the takeoff springs from? I'm looking but not having much luck. I'm looking for 4800# (LAV) for the 7.3.
