Tremor front springs

Info for someone wondering about Tremor springs on a non Tremor truck, or possibly what your Tremor truck might look like with 2” rear blocks instead of the Tremor’s 3” rear block. I picked up some takeoff 2023 gas Tremor springs for my 23 non Tremor gas 350. I installed them this morning and ended up with about 1-1/4” of height over the stock springs. I kept my stock rear blocks which are 2” blocks and I am happy with how the truck turned out. I believe the Tremor springs are either softer or maybe because of the extra length help the front end ride softer than with the stock springs. The softer ride was a pleasant surprise. The stock rake was a little more than 2-1/2”, now it is a little less than 1-1/2”, measured at the fender openings.

We also have a 21 diesel Tremor and I would say the ride is now very comparable whereas before the front of the non Tremor gas truck rode a little harsher than the Tremor does. The tag on my stock springs says LC3C-5310-ANB, the tag on the Tremor springs says LC3C-5310-AVB. I also have Fox 2.0’s for up to 1.5” level and I confirmed there is plenty shock travel for the longer springs.

Good info, thanks for the post. Any idea what the spring rate is on those springs? Yours would be on the door sticker.

My door sticker says front end rating is 4800lbs., Spring rate says NNNN. The rating on the front end of the truck the Tremor springs came off of was also 4800lbs.

I was wondering the same thing. I don’t have the right camera, but would be cool to see a video if those bumps stops are causing a rough ride under normal driving conditions.

That wouldn't make enough difference to be noticed unless you regularly run over bumps that engages the bumpstops. It is mostly due to spring rate and maybe a little with more weight shifted torwarded the rear with the higher front ride height.

Does anyone know what the front tremor spring rate/code is for F250 gas trucks?
Should be what the OP used and posted, or do you mean like the 2 letter code on the jamb sticker?

Were the shocks installed prior to the Tremor springs, or after? I know shocks can make a noticeable ride difference.

I had the Fox shocks on the truck for a few weeks prior to the Tremor springs.

My front axle is rated for 4800 and the code is NNJJ.

Did a search and found it in a post from 2020

So AVB is for F350 gas Tremor and AVA is for F250 gas Tremor.

i regularly hit mine when it was stock. youd be surprised at how close they are. and the 2020+ are even closer cause ford lowered the trucks but didnt change the bump stop location.

So AVB is for F350 gas Tremor and AVA is for F250 gas Tremor.
Im not sure this is accurate. I think model year also comes into play. I saw a 2022 F350 gas spring from a truck with 4800lb rated front axle and the tag on that one was LC3C-5310-ANA (my 23 stock spring is ANB). From the little I have looked into these numbers I believe the 23’s all changed the last character of the tag from A to B from previous years.

I see, you are looking for the 2 letter code. His original springs had the same code, NN, I haven't seen what that code is with Tremor.

I was able to find the door sticker from an earlier gas Tremor with 4800 front springs and it had a front spring code 66 (66NN).

Location was the same but not the length. The 17-19 used a taller but softer bump stop than 2020+.

Oh I see.

Well there goes my theory. Perhaps the front springs of gas tremors, 250 or 350, are the same for the same year since the Tremor package does bump up the GVWR of the F250 to over 10k lb anyway.
