you know what i hate? is that my front tires are flush with my front fenders but my rear tires seem narrower (but are not)and stick inward like an inch compared to my rear fenders. My buddy just put 15x8 american racing wheels on his 86 f150 8ft bed. he put 31x10.5 15's on them. his front tires stick out while his rears are flush. my question is... is it back spacing? i just want the two to be even. I saw aluminum 5/16 wheel spacers at pepboys. anybody try them? (I was thinking of putting on rear) thank you
Wheel Rim Spacers? I've seen them on some mags back in the days of my trie changing rims, The method back then was because some mags needed different Egg shape spacers around the lug nuts, some mags had to change out the lug bolts (longer) to make the wheel (Rims) stick out outward past the fenderwells. These looked neat n Tidy, made it appeared that you had Deep Rims But on the downside...all that dirt an mud made the fender also dirty...just think if you had to go over a road that was just repayed with black tar an pea gravel....what a mess that would be to get off the paint....
