Just got an Excursion
It isn't a limited so no fog lamps, Might want to look into getting a pair, Any suggestions? I saw somewhere It was like a whole new front bumper cover with the fog lights built in.
For Grilles check out J&J enterprises out of california. they make stainless steel inserts that are both horizontal and vertical. nice quality and easy installation. although they are not too cheap for stainless but nice. I plan on putting the vertical stainless grille on my 2002 F250 SD.
lots of photos on their site. check them out at www.j-jent.com
For light bars and grille protection Westin automotive makes some nice stuff. they have a safari bar for the lighting and a bull bar for lighting and grill protection plus a optional skid plate too. all made in nice chrome plated steel or black steel. I like the Bull Bar and will be putting one on my SD. check them out at www.westinautomotive.com
good luck with the EX's.

I got mine from them just to see how their customer service was. They were $11 each plus 3.50 S/H I believe. I got my third from the dealer for $16.00. Took 'em 2 weeks.

What did you look under. I am trying to find the PSD badge, but am not having any luck.
Have you tried your own dealer?
I believe I have found my new friends. I have a 2000 XLT 4x4 v10 Excursion. I love my truck !!
I have done the typical modificaitons. Lund deflector, Limo Tint all around, K&N, tornado air, 50 series 1 in 2 out Flowmaster with dual 4" chrome tips straight out the back (one on each side of the reese hitch) looks and sounds marvelous, it will also set you back in your seat. Chrome Mesh Grille, very bright fog lamps and slightly larger tires are in the works. I purchased mine last July and have loved every minute.
My Ex is currently at the Ford Dealer having the idle repaired, seems some mornings it just doesn't want to stay cranked. I also have problems with keeping the front rotors smooth, especially after towing. Is there a HD aftermarket rotor that will alleviate this problem, like a Mack or Frieghtliner Model??
I continue to look for ways to increase my power and fuel efficiency, pipe dream I know, also the sheer beauty and head turning power that it already has. I also have to be carefull, the wife is starting to think everyday is my trucks birthday. She reminds me frequently, but only when she's not a passenger.
It's good to meet other fans of the Mac Daddy SUV that makes all the tree huggers cringe. Keep up the good work, see ya later. Scott

Two things...Is it hot when you are getting things out the back with the truck runnin'?! DO you still have hair on your shins?

Would you mind doin' an experiment? Take the MPG from your truck for a week; remove the Tornado thingy and run it another week. Tell us if it is different! Would you do it?

I did read a post somewhere about upgraded rotors. I need to find it. I would like to upgrade cause these rotors SUCK. 10K like clock work, time to turn 'em.

What do run for tire pressure? Also, the larger tires you're considering will help.

And it's very good to have you! Hope to see lots of you on the boards!

I would like to put a pair on my 2001 Limited.
