Sorting through my “stuff” and re-discovered this. Curious as to its actual application. I dug into my chassis parts catalog, and found it to be the left hand bracket for 48-52 F2-3 stakebed. Some work with a brush revealed the part#. Hadn’t ran across one before.
That bracket is for F2/3 cab and chassis trucks (excluding express pickups). Most likely they mounted on the frame, similar to the F6 trucks, seen here. The main difference is the two sided mounting on Owen's, vs the flat base on these.
