Bb mod?

Alright so you may have read about my nightmare I had with my pcm, well in the process of ****ing around I broke the fuel regulator return cap. So I ordered a new one. No spring with it sadly. So I'm wondering is it alright to throw a bb in here like I've read about and heard about or is that a crock? Thanks again guys.

Imo no sense throwing another pot metal FPR back on there, just gonna break again. Get an FRx.

Yea there junk. Trucks been down for to long already. I'm throwing the pot metal on there for now. Will look into ordering this one. This was part came in 2 days nobody else could.

Oky doky just treat it gently. New Parker sleeves get it put together with the spring on right then leave it alone ftw.

Yea these are definitely an option, i wished i lived in the states so i could get parts faster.

Do I need a compression sleeve I never ordered 1? Can I not just thread tape or tighten the fuel line on there ffs

You will need a new compression sleeve unless you just very recently replaced it. I would not try Teflon tape

Sweet well hopefully I can find a compression sleeve from a parts store or can make shift one up. Any ideas? I need this truck on the road yesterday...

5/16” ID for the OD on the return line. Not sure of the OD on the compression sleeve.

If that's the case a 1/4 fuel line cut into a little look alike should work no? I might try it if I can't find a compression sleeve today. Truck is like a half hour away in a sketchy city so I just want to get it home.
