Couple of days ago Ford emailed/texted me saying my 24 was built and due at my dealer Nov 30-Dec 6.
Today I checked tracking and now it shows the date the truck was ordered and it is not yet even in production. Todays tracking also shows it was updated Dec 2.
Tons of threads here from covid on demonstrating that Ford doesn't care if or when it builds your vehicle and that communication from them is beyond abysmal. Just seems to be the new standard, Good Luck
Ford chat says truck is produced. Guess I'll find out soon enough, LOL.
My experience with anything online with Ford has never been wonderful. For a big multi billion dollar company everything they do online sucks. From the things you're experiencing to the FordPass app.
Call the dealer! They always have the most up to date, accurate information available from their system. Don't ask anyone here, they don't know.
I don't know that that's always necessarily true. I knew just before my sales manager did that my truck was arriving in December 2021.
And you're right. We certainly don't know where someone else's truck is in the pipeline.
That tracking page that you look up with the dates and vin with the picture from the link Ford sends, is wishy washy in its accuracy. Constantly working or not working......
it would be great to have a sub forum for folks buying new trucks and all their questions and hopefully that would make it easier for ford USA to monitor and answer .
