What is up with the time a person has to waite for a new truck ? orderd a f- 250 lariat sept got a order conferm oct 4 build date oct 25 and dealer said maybe i'll see it dec----- thats 12- 13 +weeks we decided on a trade price and incentives have gotten better but i want my new truck i hate to say it but is ford playing games or what. i know the kentucky plant was down for 2 weeks but this is rediculus any ford employees with some input i'm on the z plan

 

4+ weeks from build date to delivery seems way off, unless you are in Alaska, Hawaii or Canada. Normally it is 2 weeks or less. With a Oct. 25 build date, I would expect that your dealer would have your truck this week or next.

 

my dad ordered his september 18, scheduled to arrive between 19-25 of november to canada, which is about 8 weeks and seems pretty good to me

maybe the dealer wants a free demo for a couple weeks. i would camp the lot and wait it out.

 

I think someone posted, a couple of weeks ago, that they had a fire in their paint shop.....Probably some recovery time involved there.
