i recall that a few years ago lunati made a crank that gave you 512 inches by offset grinding the journals and using chevy rods to fit the new diameter. dunno if they're still available, though.

It’s important to know that the 514 stroker is the largest stroker that can be internally balanced. The factory ford crank is rated for over 600 hp and you can have the rod journals offset ground to 2.200 to make a 4.14 or 4.15 stroke for use with 6.700 or 6.800 BB Chevy rods depending on piston mfg. As mentioned in a previous post in order to make this an internal balance crank the counter weights would have to be balanced by drilling and inserting Mallory in its place (heavier denser metal). The bottom line is all this work cost money and you can pick up a 514 internal balance crank usually for less than it will cost to have the work done. One other note when you have an internal balance motor and remove the counter weight you have to replace it with the proper Ford spacer or buy an aftermarket model usually about 30 bucks or so. Forged pistons for this set up will be very expensive the cheapest you will find will be Probe SRS for about $500.00 a set through TMD. The very cheapest way to do this is to buy a complete rotating assembly and have it balanced.....then your done with the exception of block machine work.
