The only plug issues the ‘03 V-10 might have is them leaving the heads all by themselves………but by ‘03 I think that earlier issue was corrected with more plug threads in the heads. Later on the early 3V motors had issues where the 2 piece plugs liked to break when removing them. You shouldn’t have any issues pulling your old plugs on the ‘03, just be sure to torque the new ones to at least 26/28 ft/lbs to keep them fully seated. On mine I found a decent wobble socket with a 4” or 6” extension made access much easier. Also be sure to install new rubber boots along with the new plugs.

thanks for the info, I’ve read quite a bit about the spark plugs, some say they fixed the problem with stripping out in 2002 some say they didn’t fix it till 2005. I’ll definitely have to get a one piece socket extension

They fixed it for the ‘03 model year, the earlier heads had too few threads that was improved in ‘03 with more threads, so ‘03+ 2V V-10s shouldn’t have any plug ejection issues if properly torqued. In ‘05 the 3V motors went into the trucks but they had those troublesome 2 piece plugs that tended to break when trying to remove them.
Yours, like my ‘05 2V are the improved design and are very reliable.
