This Ground Wire

I was under the hood trying to figure out why my trailer light plug no longer works, I found this ground, can someone tell me where it belongs if it is OEM? It comes from next to the large gauge factory ground on the side of the fuse box.

Sorry...you can see the other end connected to the ground block next to the large factory ground on the side of the fuse box. In the lower background.

that looks like a home made add on. ford did not use crimp connectors in wiring harness.

the only thing besides the main ground wire is the body ground which is the smaller green wire seen in the picture
