Engine question


Does this hole need to be plugged on a 351M it’s on the driver side next to the water pump and behind the PS mount

1977 Ford F250 Custom 2wd

It does not need to be plugged. It's a blind hole.

True but I like to fill those holes for 1) aesthetic reasons and 2) preservation of threads etc. for some as yet unimagined option. Ya never know when an unanticipated need will pop up. Paint on bare metal after proper prep is also recommended.

Yep, good idea. I like doing that too.
