Overhead switch panel.

Trying to come up with a way to mount switches overhead. Between the sun visors is where I'm looking at. However, I can't seem to find any ready-made panels in the aftermarket. Ideas?

I dont know what you are looking for but I think they make an over head consul that will also hold a radio & speakers maybe that can be made to work to hold switches? https://www.lmctruck.com/1980-96-for...lt-in-speakers

The other would be look into race car switch panels. https://www.google.com/search?q=race...client=gws-wiz

That first one would be great, but my truck is a super cab.
What I'm looking for is something small enough to fit between the sun visors and look at least good if not factory. Maybe there's no such thing. I've seen some for specific vehicles, but nothing universal. Something like these:

Of course, in a bullnose truck, there's no "hump" like in the second picture. What I need is more like the last one, which appears to be self-contained. Hopefully that exists somewhere.

Dose your truck have a head liner in it now?
If so you might be able to build off that?
Think is once the switch panel is up there how do you run the wires?

Some thin plywood and some carpet glued over it. That's all the high end interior/stereo people use on those custom show cars.

Yes, it has the factory headliner, and it is in quite good shape.

That's an excellent idea. Now, I'd definitely want to find something that would match the headliner. I'm also well armed with a sewing machine and some modest upholstery skills. Fabric source anyone?

Very good question. The only thing I can think of is to partially take down the headliner, run the wires to the a-pillar, and then under the a pillar cover down to the dash. I have a small fuse block waiting.

You can buy headliner fabric. It has foam glued to the back of it, and you should be able to match it up. It's a little bit stretchy, and the foam on the back will give it some forgiveness around the corners Depending on how you made the console, you might be able to stretch and glue it over the console without sewing it. Use that 3M contact adhesive in a spray can you can get a Walmart or Lowe's. You spray it on both surfaces, let it dry and then put the two surfaces together, it's stuck.
