Hi y’all,
my 1978 F100 (RHD) will not start and I’m pretty sure it’s the fuel pump, because it isn’t making any noise when I try to start it. Is there any way for me to tell if the problem is wiring or the actual fuel pump? I’ve never really done any wiring before so I have no idea where to start. I don’t have a voltage or amp meter.
This is the fuel pump. The black wire is a ground and the red keeps on going
This is where I lost the red wire (it turned white). How do I follow it past this? It went up through this hole which is under the back of the cab.
Follow in the interior …most likely going to under dash/ignition area, but I would get a cheap test light or multimeter and check red wire and ground, but also check the black wire to make sure it is grounded good.

I made a change to the above answer.
Some testing it is easier to use the light like for this but if the truck or other cars you have dont charge the battery you need the meter.
HF has them cheap and will do the job for use once in a while.
