I think it comes down to people not wanting to pay stealer prices. However we do have some good ones that offer the best pricing.

I do not remember how many miles my truck had on it when I bought it. I want to say 180K but it couldn't be lower than 140K, I now only have 240K and I am now on my 4th set of brakes.
I barely use my brakes and only drive like 5k a yr. I do not have time on OEM pads for a comparison but compared to others; you can see that these "performance" pads don't last. Granted I just pulled set 3 and they probably had half life left. I just barely started set 4.

I have owned this truck since 2006 IIRC. When I first got it, it was used to pull heavy loads and was driving more miles. I guess it's time to go back to OEM after this set. I think they have the standard pads/ rotors and HD

I did my fronts at 70k and used Motorcraft parts and everything is fine at 97k.

I am getting ready to do the rear brakes for the first time and have no problem buying them from the Ford dealer.
I’m leaning the same direction.
I’m taking the front rotors to a machine shop this morning to see they can be turned. The inner pad on the R/F corner is completely worn out, I’m hoping the rotor is not damaged beyond repair. If I can get them cleaned up, I will most likely pick up new pads from the dealership and swap them out.

If you are getting uneven wear on the pads, then the calipers need attention.
maybe I read it wrong, but from what you just said, it sounds like you have uneven wear
