Another brake question...

Brake pads;
Ceramic or Bendix Fleet metallic ?

Truck gets HD use pulling the fiver. 45K and in need of rear brake work.
It is a dually. Going to replace front too.

Will Ceramic tear up the rotors quicker than stock or bendix? Which is the better choice ...

Thx in adv.

Ceramic cuts down on the brake dust. I would use the Fleet metalic. They do a good job and don't cost as much. I have seen some rotors that ceramics wore out pretty fast and others that they did not. Guess it depends on the rotors. Hope this helps.

Thanks much Plowhand..
Your info helps alot. I was sold on ceramic's until someone on this site talked about bendix fleet metallic.. that opened another possibility. I felt as you indicated that ceramic might destroy the factory rotor. wasn't sure.
thanks
