Try resetting it. Put the window up, holding the switch up the entire time, then down, holding the switch down the entire time. Then see if it works right. There is a safety mechanism in the motor that will put the glass down half way if it senses any kind of resistance. Hopefully that reset will work.
+1 Something may have gotten into one of the tracks or something and the regulator needs to be reset. My driver's window did that one time and what JKBrad suggested is just about exactly what I did.
That didn't work. I think I know the cause of the problem. Occasionally when going through the drive-thru lane at a fast food restaurant they give me the receipt and while waiting for the food I slip it into the window slot so as not to litter. I have been doing that for years with many different vehicles and never had a problem until now. I'm not going to remove the door panel so hopefully the paper will deteriorate and the problem will fix itself. Also, I won't be doing that anymore. Duh....
