Try resetting it. Put the window up, holding the switch up the entire time, then down, holding the switch down the entire time. Then see if it works right. There is a safety mechanism in the motor that will put the glass down half way if it senses any kind of resistance. Hopefully that reset will work.

+1 Something may have gotten into one of the tracks or something and the regulator needs to be reset. My driver's window did that one time and what JKBrad suggested is just about exactly what I did.

Umm, wow. Never even heard of such a thing. Good luck though, you probably found the reason. Remove it and please post picks of the wad of trash you pull out of there, we gotta see it!
