Front parking brake cable replacement
Although only cosmetic, here's neater cables that can fit into the dash, as opposed to under the dash, for info :

Apply a small amount of grease either side of the areas marked in green :
Don't forget a clip or cable tie at the orange area.
(Yup, I found where to choose colors. LOL)
Don't play with wires that you're not familiar with !
Disconnect the ground wire from the battery terminal when you start following wires.
That will prevent inadvertent shorts or whatever.
Follow both the I and S wires from the starter solenoid to see where they go.
The S wire sounds like it is ok, but no harm in checking.
The two brown wires 'might' go to the high/low beam switch attached to the floor, found in USA trucks.
It's the same shape as a miniature coke can, but I see no signs of one in your pictures.
I won't speculate as to what the green wires are, so best to follow those too.

As far as the disconnected wires, I see in the previous pic that ONE green is connected to the orange (with the black elec tape on the end). X2 Yes follow them to see where they go.
I suspect a bypass for the NSS (Neutral Safety Switch). If it is a 73-76 that switch is/should be on the topside of the steering column. And when you have a manual trans there is supposes to be a small jumper wire (loop) in the engine compartment to properly bypass it.
I thought I already covered connecting the hand brake bracket to the dash. You need to use TWO bolts and nuts. With the off set of the handle you are pulling sort of crooked and that need to be bolted tight to the underside of the dash. And that wire with the crimp on end can be under the bolt head. So the bracket is flat to the underside of the dash.
See the green circle? That one red/orange wire and the one green are connected.
