Ok, right now i am a really mad kid, im 16, i got bronco back today from the shop where they put my pipes on and they did a great job. It was def. worth the 400 dollars for the custom setup......
Well anyway, I have a set of 35x14.50x15 Mickey Thompson Baja Belted HP in my backyard that I only bought them all for 200 bucks brand new (they were probably stolen), but my dad said that they are going on the truck because a 4 inch lift wont do the trick. But i said the 4in lift will be enough, suspension lift by the way, but he still didnt agree, so, i really want these tires on my truck because i really dont want to go smaller than that, so can you guys tell me if a 4in will do te trick, even if i gotta trim the fender a little, that will be ok, just tell me that will work
My 87 started with stock and 31's. I added a 4 inch lift and slapped some 35's in there. I had a slight rubbing so I added a 1in body lift and all worked great. I considered trimming the fender but didnt feel like making that kind of mod. So long as your lift has all the parts needed to be done correctly, you should have no probs. Have fun with it and dad.........ITS HIS TRUCK! You can only learn by trying.
will definatly clear. we had an 88 with a 3 inch body lift and that cleared 35's ... only interference was front bumper needed to be pushed forwards. with suspension lift, you should be avoiding that problem. should fit and look awesome. just try convincing him a little more and a little better.
33's on stock rims will clear with NO lift and NO fender-trimming; just a 3/4" spacer behind the front bumper. 35's should clear easily with 3" and have NO problems at all with 4". Click my signature and look in the BroncoFest/BroncoBash photo album. There's a flex test on a lifted Bronco in it.
