The new Autels would not scan either. It was if they didn't exist. I had to use the TS408 to program them (simple to do but a booger to figure out what to program them with). I had to let all the air out of the tires and program them. After getting them programmed, tires aired back up the rest was pretty simple.

Did you just have to find a 433mhz Ford to program them for? Remember what you used? I know on mine you can't just specify a frequency have to tell it what car it's for.
Hopefully this can help someone in the future. Discount tire finally got it. Or ones that at least work. They swapped their 7007s to the 33560s, reset it and now they work.
I ordered new tires and wheels mounted and balanced with TPMS (GAU-33500G - Gorilla EZ-Sensor TPMS). While waiting on my new tires and wheels I sold my factory tires and wheels (pending arrival of my new ones). Anyway, installed new tires and wheels and drove it for a couple days and TPMS fail announcement didn't go away and still no pressure readings on the display. Took it to the tire shop to get the sensors reprogrammed and they said the sensors were incompatible. They installed Autel sensors. Still no joy and was told it had to take it to the dealership. At the dealership I they told me they couldn't help because I didn't have factory sensors. So, long story short tire shop can't figure it out and dealership won't help. I tried putting the pickup in learn mode and releasing air from the left front but could only get the double honk. Does anyone have any ideas?
Howdy,
I've used the dual frequency MX sensors for several years on Superduty trucks. I have a factory FORD TPMS sensor that has just failed. My FORSCAN believes it's the truck sensor, not the wheel transmitter. To test, I can use the Autel Maxi TPMS Pad to activate and scan the FORD wheel transmitter. If it's bad, I'll install a spare OEM FORD wheel sensor that I have when I have the OEM tires changed out in a few days and just have FORD or a tire shop do the relearn. Then I'll use my Autel Maxi TPMS Pad to clone all 4 onto new Autel MX sensors. I'm running on the Lariat Sport 20", but for the winter, I have a set of studded 245/75R17 LRE that I'll put together with the new Autel MX sensors that have NEVER failed me.
In other words, the sensors are fine, but do reqire the inexpensive Autel programmer to program them. You can do a search and have one in a few days. FORD or FORSCAN should be able to provide the TPMS ID's stored in the trucks computer network. Remember to clone your OEM TPMS sensors before selling them from now on. It ain't rocket science, lol.
Plan B for you is to clone another Superduty set of TPMS sensors and program your Autel sensors with those ID'S. Use the Autel TPMS Maxi TPMS Pad or have the shop that installed them do the programming, unless they are idiots. Finally, do the TPMS relearn procedure on your truck or have a tech do it for you.
Duh, I just saw your updated post, but I'll leave mine up for reference. I always use the Autel dual frequency MX TPMS transmitters.
Remember folks, to avoid stress, read your OEM wheel transmitters, write down the ID's in order LF, RF, RR, LR for reference BEFORE you sell your OEM TPMS. Then you can program your clones.
FWIW to add some experience to the discussion. I have both an Autel (TS508) and Shrader (S41). The Schrader tool is a bit nicer and more user friendly. They both do the same things, except not all tools will program all sensors.
The sensors Discount usually is selling (#33560 etc) are Schrader brand.
In my case, I had them install sensors when mounting tires. They initially programmed them to 315mhz, which was wrong for my 23 (they only had '22 data at the time and said a 22 F350 was 315). Discount later told me they couldn't be reprogrammed once programmed/installed. With the Schrader tool, I was able to reprogram them in the tire to 415mhz. The Autel could read & activate the sensors just fine, but couldn't do anything with program them. Lesson here was to have a tool that is compatible with the sensors you have as they are not all compatible.
