cannot complete regen

My 2019 6.7 never completes the regen. I get a message saying that the "exhaust filter is full and to drive it to clean it"
I do mainly in town driving, so I took it on two 1 hours drives at 70mph, it shows a message that the: exhaust is cleaning."
This cycle just keeps repeating daily.
I used Forscan to check the temps on the EGT sensors and all of them were reading normal temps.
I'm thinking that maybe deleting may be the best option.

You're saying that everyday when you first start it up, the exhaust filter full message pops up? When it says cleaning, have you monitored the DPF % to see how low it gets? If it truly was not burning down the truck would go in to derate, so it must be completing a regen to an extent, enough to allow you to continue using the truck. No idea why you would get the full message daily.

Was driving a 2020 work truck that started doing this, even multiple times a day. It didn't smarten up until I got the 'drive to clean' message just before leaving a small town with a long, steep hill. I stopped on the exit, shut down the truck, restarted and it said 'cleaning...' used manual shifter to keep it around 2250 rpm all the way up the hill and beyond until it finished the cleaning and haven't seen it come back since.

I was under the impression that a manual regen had not been worked out with the forscan. Am I missing something?

You may very well have a egt sensor that has gone bad or out of spec. They are cheap, and fairly easy to replace. Likely egt12 is the culprit.

OCR can be enabled which would give the option to stationary (manual) regen when the DPF is full. Not sure that it would be much different than the OP's long highway drive. Maybe Fritz meant a forced regen? With Forscan hooked up to the truck, I would look under service procedures, see if static regen is there.

Without additional information from the OP who knows what's really going on.

Ok, so you are suggesting a forced, static regen. Good to know that it can even be done with the app.

Problem finally solved. My DEF tank was 1/2 full so I thought that couldn't be the problem, but after trying to figure this out for a month or so I finally read that filling up the DEF tank could help. I filled it up and the messages went away and have not returned. So apparently a 1/2 full DEF tank can somehow cause issues.
