What would you all recomend for a locker in the rear diff? i dont need hardcore off road lockers, just something better then the POS LS. this past weekend upstate i was all over the place and did not notice a thing with the LS. i only notice it on dry pavement, it locks right up. but i was not impressed on wet muddy fields at all. maybe its just me

ps- i have the stearling 10.5 rear with 3.73. also, would ford change them to 4.10 if i asked??? not a major issue but one for thought. need more power down low with the 5.4L
Been through it 100 times. Just get the detroit and be done with it. search around for the best price...other options are a lock right and a no-slip ..its a better lock right. for the money I would go with the detroit...
What size tires are you going with?
If you want 35s or bigger, you might as well get 4.56s or something like that as opposed to regearing from 3.73s to 4.10s.
Does anyone know if there is anyway to get 4.30s with the V-8?
I don't see why they cannot be ordered in that configuration-
with HD trucks, there is no required fuel mileage
lower gears would really help the smaller engine move when hauling loads
I've always heard that going from 3.73 to 4.10 or a similar change is usually not worth the cost of regearing.
