/96 E150. Front wheel inner bearing stuck on spindle w/ gouges. Easier to replace whole spindle?

ignoring problems is fine but its just clear you few who do do NOT support forums or members by doing so. its NOT that you need to ignore them, its new members who have to see this crap, and those who have to endure it. HOW do you think this helps someone who is looking for a part stuck at a motel? Ignoring it means you cant report it.

Once again, i posted a link to a used parts hotline that has at least 15 different salvage yards that have that exact part on hand and ready to ship however the guy wants it shipped. Beyond that if i didnt support the forum i wouldnt have taken the time from my day to post a very simple solution to the mans problem. Get over yourselves

I would buy a cheap grinder and a cutoff wheel and cut the old race off. Or ask the hotel workers if they know someone with a torch. Grease and replace bearings and change the spindle when I got home.

Right, that is how to get it off
Split it with a cutoff wheel and chisel it off
The spindle will be galled
You can take a new bearing and see how bad the galling is when trying to put it on the spindle
You can dress the spindle to make the bearing fit
Then you can stake the part where the inner race rides and the other one was galled (use a pointy punch and a hammer)
That will be a temporary fix that should get you home
