Fuel filter compatibility

Is the 6.7L diesel fuel from 2020 compatible with my 2022?

K&N has a fuel filter that says compatible with 2020

I would only use Motorcraft fuel filters for the fuel system.

Compatible 17-23 yes, but I tend to agree with the above statement, I would stick to Motorcraft for the fuel filters.

Thanks. I'll look at the Motorcraft.

One more vote for the OEM filters, very limited aftermarket options for the 2017+, Fleetguard and Donaldson don't offer anything, Baldwin does, rebadge brands like K&N and AFE offer some and then you into the no name brands that who knows if they actually meet OEM spec. IMHO of course, unless you swap out the filters for a threaded filter head, I would stick with OEM.

With how sensitive the CP4 is to contaminants, STICK with what works best, true Motorcraft! Be careful though there are copycat kits out there, especially on Amazon. If the part number is stamped on the plastic filter housing, its a fake, True motorcraft numbers are etched in.

The cheap ones get stuck in the lower tank housing.

While I agree on sticking with only motorcraft filters, the trash that kills the CP4 comes from directly within the CP4, not after passing through the filters.
