Window trim removal

Any tips or advice on removing the trim during a windshield seal replacement?

It's pretty straightforward. Remove trim after you pull the windshield. Also, be sure to set the trim to the seal before you reinstall the windshield. Don't try to remove or install the trim with the windshield installed.

....as Tony said. To remove the old seal and windshield, cut the seal on the inside and push the glass forward and out gently onto a pad or the helping hands of an assistant. Installation is the same as most older vehicles so any online demo should work.

Thanks for the info. The hardest part will be removing all the silicone I used to try and stop the leaks.

yes, yes it will. I have found gasoline and a brass wire brush to be the most effective way to remove silicone. Or plastidip if you ever come across it.
