2006 F350 super cab, dual rear wheel Does anyone know if anyone makes the driveshaft center support bearing frame section ? Where the carrier bearing bolts to..
Might have some luck looking in JC Whitney, MAYBE. Or a junkyard.
However, if you've got a problem with that crossmember, what do your others look like? You might be reaching the point in this truck's life where it just needs to retire.
Yeah, I'd say you should go to a junkyard if you need the thick crossmember riveted into the frame. Your not going to be able to get that off in a U-pull it. But if its rusted and trashed the bed must be a complete mess along with the frame. You need to take stock if its worth the effort and everything else your going to break to get the bed off and replace it.
It’s just the one that’s rotted. I know it’s a 2006 but it just turned 60,000 . No rot any where else.

Well, again go to a full service junkyard and see if they'll be nice and cut/grind it out cleanly. Some u-pull its might do it, but since you need sparks or flame they usually do not let you cut it out due to liability. My place here its 50 just to move it over to the chop shop area, then its 75/hr for removal 1 hr min. So 125 min right up front for any part they need to intervene on.
I found a cross member, looks in good shape, Thanks for the info. We can do fabrication in our shop. I just did not know if the cross member was manufactured aftermarket by anyone, especially since it seems to be common. like the jeep frame rails>. Thanks again !!!
