code p21b0 replace def pump assembly

Hello all. My 2016 F350 CCSB 6.7 with 104000 miles threw the code p21b0. Can I do this or should I go to a good dealer. The def heater should also be replaced. Would I be right to assume $2000 for this repair? Dave

check to see if your truck has any recalls for the DEF heater, if so then let them repair it.

i did this myself, just needed a floor jack to ease down the tank. you tube has a step be step video.
i saved lots of money and i ordered all the parts off of amazon. you can do it!

I agree... my truck is off warranty in a few months and if mine goes, I may do it to save money instead of taking it to my buddy's shop... I installed my S&S DPK gen 2 kit so a DEF heater is probably easier... there was a video here on DEF heater replacement posted not that long ago...

Go to YouTube and watch videos... then you can decide if you want to tackle it or have a shop do it...
