Knock sensor
I have a 94 F150 with the 5.0 mass air version that is cracked. I got a 5.0 which is speed density from a 94 F250. The knock sensor was screwed into the rear top of the block behind the manifold with a 1/2” 13 thread on the cracked engine. The engine from the F250 does not have a threaded hole in the block in the same location. Has anyone ever ran into this? So far every sensor that I have looked up is 1/2 13, all the holes I have seen so far in the heads and block are smaller.
Of course I will using all the mass air controls and sensors on the replacement engine.
