BW1356 Shift Linkage Adjustment?
I have the BW1356 transfer case on my 1990 f250. I am trying to get it ready for winter and noticed my 4wd shifter seems out of adjustment. From 2wd, I can pull back into 4wd and feel the detent, but if I go slightly further, there is another detent which is also the wall where the shifter needs to be pushed to the left then back further to get into N and 4lo. The first detent is 4wd hi and will work fine, the second detent works for a second then pops into neutral. I am assuming the linkage may need adjusting so there isn't the 2 detent. I looked under and couldn't find anything, is there an external adjustment or is it internal or from wear?
Also, I noticed when I shift to 4wd and take off, the rear abs light comes on. Any ideas on this? Thanks guys.
