2005 Ford Excursion 6.0 with August 2005 build date. Can anyone suggest a vendor to purchase a quality main engine wiring harness. I keep getting confusing information. The part number is 5C3Z12BB637AA. The suffix is causing the problem. I'm told the AA indicates with fuel heater. My X doesn't have a fuel heater. Others say a BA suffix is for non fuel heater. What a conundrum. I don't want to get the wrong one as some vendors have restocking fees of up to 50% if returned.
Part of the problem I am finding, it seems they didn't make a 2006 Ford Excursion. At least I can't bring it up on any of the parts places online. I would expect a glitch on one of the sites, but not all of them.
I was going to look at the diagram. If the heater is like my older truck, not hooked to the computer just a dumb 12v ignition on heater, then I do not see why having a wire for it but not hooking it up would matter. I think you need to get it worked out though, what you really have there as far as year and model.
Thanks, I believe the part number suffix BA is for a none fuel heater application. I'm still researching to prevent an up to 50% restocking fee if the BA suffix doesn't work.
