2. Skid plates over the fuel tank, transfer case, etc..., steering stabilizer, and a fancy decal. I think it also dictates the AT tires.
3. If you plan on running any equipment off of the trucks electrical system, whether it be tools (winch, hydraulic pump, etc...) or a camper, it provides the extra juice to get it done.
4. There are several "leveling kits" available out there. Do a search on that topic for more info than you'd ever want.
5. No, the SD uses solid axles front and rear, u-joints are unaffected. If you lift beyond ~6-8", you'll need to adjust the driveline angle and center bearing. The lift you're talking about will not require any modification, some trucks come from the factory at that height.
6. Not sure on this one, but I think it refers to aftermarket headlight bulbs - Sylvania I believe. They are apparently a real nice mod, and give significantly more light than stock. On my list of "to do's" actuallys.
7. No idea.
That should cover the basics anyway, I'm sure some others will be along to fill in any details I missed.
Welcome to FTE.

I had to ordered the Ford trailer hitch (comes wired with both the round one and the flat four) and I use a jumper to connect the camper.
In the USA, the camper package also includes a printed, vehicle specific document detailing the weight of the camper allowed on that particular vehicle. (I think..............I've been researching this document for some time and can't get an intelligent Canadian response. Nobody's heard of it up here, but it's a popular US topic on some of the RV sites.)
