Snow Plow package question
Just put an order in for an 04 350 4x4. I just wanted to know what I was missing by not ordering the Snow Plow package for an addithinal $70?
The truck is already getting the HD and the fx4 package and will have 9900# GVWR.
Other than possible brackets or mounting points. Does the Snow Plow package change the geometry of the suspension?

another question on this topic. What are the restrictions on this snow plow package? when i try to 'build my ford', it says restrictions apply see dealer. I will probably be going to a dealership to look at some trucks and check out the 6.0, as i havnt driven one yet, but just wanted to know what the deal was with the package before i asked them. I would probably be buying an f350 reg cab 4x4 6.0 6 speed. i would like it to sit as high as possible stock, henche the 350 over the 250. I also was wondeirng what size tires people clear with this hight of a truck. My brother has an 85 350 and clears 35's stock. another buddy has a 99 250 ext cab 7.3 and clears 35's with aleveling kit. I am usually a member on the bronco board, but this will probably be my new tow after tax season, if all goes well.

The restrictions might be that the plow package isn't offered with certain combos with the PSD. With a Reg Cab F-350 6.0 it is offered.....as far as I know. The majority of the trucks that I have seen with the plow package clear 33" tires stock.

I believe you cannot get both snow plow prep with "highest gvw front"
It is the same thing - x springs on front

That is what I was thinking also but I thought I would ask the question any way.
I will be following the other posters recomendations and give my dealer a call in the morning also.

I just bought an 03 f-250 ex cab with the snow plow package, and i actually had to put the f-350 blocks in the back of the truck because the front sat HIGHER than the rear! I would recommend the snowplow package for anyone who wants a level truck.
