Front End Intermittent Vibration

My 2000 recently has developed a front-end vibration. Upon hitting a bump, the front right side will vibrate like I hit a less aggressive rumble strip. It will stop once I hit another bump. It will do this starting as low as 25mph.
Feedback in the steering from the vibration is very minimal.

When I lock the hubs, it stops completely, and I cannot get it to do it. I jacked it up recently and pryed around and everything seems tight.

My first thought is the unit bearing on that side is starting to go south. No squeaking or anything, however.
252k on it, unknown mileage on the unit bearings.

My first guess is to check the needle bearings inside the front hubs/unit bearings.

Exact same behavior as what happened to me with my truck. Front wheel bearings cleared it up 100%. My theory on why I didn't hear any droning as is typical of a bad wheel bearing is that they are simply too large to generate a frequency high enough for us to hear, but it's still strong enough to make that vibration. Took me a year to figure it out and what prompted me to do the job was I discovered the inner seals on the hub were so worn out that it made a groove in the stub axles, forcing a wholesale replacement of everything from the differential out except for the locking hub assemblies. They were still fine, rust free and functioning perfectly.

Do you mean the knuckle seal was spinning on the stub axle? Or the race that the needle bearing rides on was grooved?

All of the above. Axles had material removed. No way of re-using them without having questions of longevity and integrety of repairs.

When then let rain water into the bearing and all went south from there. This was 5 years ago now and the old parts are now recycled somewhere.
