To start off I'm 22 and started my own welding business about two years ago. I have always been around Ford trucks and cars but I finally got one for myself earlier this year. It's a 1967 f100 single cab shortbed that I got in trade for some welding work I did on a '55 Chevy 3100. This will be my first dedicated welding rig and it's a project I am looking forward to. I've already stripped it down to the frame and have started converting it to 4wd as well as lifting it to better suit my use. I'm using a Sterling 10.5 and Dana 50 off a 2001 f350 along with all the leaf springs and 16 inch Alcoa wheels with 32 inch tires. I will be boxing the frame and moving some cross members around and replacing them with tubes. It will have a 300 ci inline 6 with a np435 and np205.
