E4od rebuild
97 f350 7.3. Case I’m using for rebuild does not have a plastic metered orifice hole at rear of transmission above output shaft. Im done with internals and just adding the outside parts now. Both cases are from diesels and it’s the only difference I’ve ran into. Is this an issue? I assume not but idk what it’s for excerpt maybe for lubrication. Thanks.
