Help with fan adapter
I own a 96 F-150 4.9 (300 cid) six. It was originally equipped with a clutch cooling fan. I want to replace the clutch fan with a Flex-a-lite flex fan. Problem is the original clutch fan has 1-1/4” threads the same as on the water pump pulley. All the fan adapters out there have 30 mm threads. These 30 mm adapters will not work with my water pump pulley threads. Are there any fan adapters that have 1-1/4” threads so I can use a flex fan? I can’t find any anywhere. Does anyone have a solution to this problem?
