Rotor Lateral Runout?

Well I grinded the inside of the rotor (figured it’s worth a shot. Worst case I’ll go buy a new pair) and I got it down to .002 I think is the measurement. Then I reinstall the hub extender and now it’s worse than before. .023” . I don’t get it. I kept the rotor in the same position on the hub from taking the measurement without the extender on.
funny thing is I just noticed it’s on the opposite side of where it used to be.
time for new rotors I guess.

I’m thinking about just ordering hubs now too. When I rotate the hub it’s smooth but seems firm, no 6 or 9, 12 or 3 play, no humming etc. but there is a small “rattling noise if I spin the hub fast, slow and you’d never hear it. Can a hub be bad without and signs besides a rattling noise? Or do I probably just have some piece of debris in there?
