The Rock Auto one is JUST the rotor and not the rotor & hub assembly. I bet you have to separate the center hub and rotor by pressing out your lug studs and then set the old center hub back on top of the new rotor and press the lug studs back in. That is how it is on a F250 4wd.
As I understand it, the 73, 74 and partial 75 F350's Super Camper Specials use a front rotor that is only used on single rear wheel trucks. the 2nd image you have posted is for F350's that are dual rear wheel setups. 76 thru 79 use a another rotor for SRW but they don't fit our trucks.
I have not had luck finding the rotors that our trucks use.
I have done some limited research on this problem and the from what I gather the 76-79 rotors won't fit our front spindles and the 76-79 front spindles wont fit our twin I beams. I was told by someone who said they had done this is to basically change our front I beams, spindles, rotors and calipers to to 76-79 parts.
I have not verified this but I was looking into it last year when life got in the way. I was going to try to find out more about it this year.
I do not know all there is to know about this and I probably missed something but I thought this might give you a little information that may help.
Thanks @77&79F250 I understand, but the loose rotor is in fact tapered and not straight like mine, if that makes sense.
@AmerigoHauler Thank you for this info. I spent quite some time finding the right ones but couldn't find anything. Now I know why.
I guess I'll stick with the ones I have currently and hopefully they don't wear too fast.
Haynes manual says the discard thickness for HD is 1.18 inch and mine are 0,94, but could it be that Mr. Haynes is talking about different rotors as well?
changing everything to 76 is a bit too much for me now.
Hope you'll find out what you are looking for. I'll let you know if I find something!
Allright! glad to know. It gets clear more and more why our campers are so 'special'..
if I may ask as well; did you have luck finding poly axle pivot bushings for your '74?
I am searching for new rotors for my '73 f350 Super camper special.
This is what I have now:
If I search on rockauto or elsewhere I get rotors that are way different than mine!
D3TZ-1102-C .. Hub & Rotor Assy / Use with Single Rear Wheels / Obsolete
1973/74 F350, 1975 F350beforeserial number V80,001
No Ford dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any and haven't had any for over 30 years.
Not available from auto parts stores either. The hub/rotor used for 1975F350 from serial number V80,001 will not work, the hub/rotor used 1976/79 F350 will not work, either.
You may find some NOS rotors on ebay, but I'd be very leery if it isn't in a Ford box with this D3TZ-1102-C part number marked on it. Most ebay sellers haven't a single clue what parts fit.
I'm sorry to say that you're stuck ... because no one makes a replacement.
haha yeah, most of the parts I replace, are coming from the US. It's not a cheap hobby..
But there's a guy in the Netherlands that has a lot of old ford trucks. I'll contact him.

Thanks for chiming in on this ND. I've been up against this issue for a few years now.

I have not replaced my axle pivot bushings, only the radius arm bushings. Steering gear and king pins are good and all take grease so I just keep everything lubed!
@AmerigoHauler thanks!
I read some other treads about our rotor issue yesterday night and nobody has a solution written actually.
Some found after-market rotors , but they are unavailable like Numberdummy said.
I will look into replacing the whole front later on. But first I have to figure out what axles are interchangeable. (only the f350's I assume)
Furthermore: Did you came across other deadstock parts for your '74 f350? (coils and feathers maybe?)
just to prepare myself for more headscratching...
I've come across a front axle with spindles, brakes etc. from a 72 F250, for sale in the Netherlands. (where i am from) Pictures attached.
It has dual piston break calipers (same as I have now) and same 8lug bolt pattern.
As the rotors for the 73 F350 are obsolete, amongst other parts, I think it makes sense to do this swap.
pivot bushings, coil springs, rotors, everything seem to be available for the 72 f250
few questions:
Will it fit?
Will some 72 f250 coil springs fit as well on the upper side?
Are the 72 f250 axles of lower quality? Since it has dual piston brakes, can I assume it's HD?
Are the tie rod end interchangeable?
Can I just drill holes for the stabilizer bar or will my F350 control arms fit?
Anything else I should check or keep in mind?
