The records make a vehicle more appealing, and stand out more against those without. It doesn’t necessarily add a money value. Which truck would you buy if all things were equal, including the price?
I don't care how many records the truck has, I wouldn't buy a truck with a moon roof, sun roof or a roof that can be opened to the sky.
That being said, my 2020 Explorer has roof opening thing a ma gig on it and we've used it just once and that was during the test drive. I only got it because the price gave me no other logical choice. My bride promised me that she'd forget about it and never use it.
I guess to each their own.. I love my 2016 Lariat moonroof .. In the fall and spring driving down country roads with it wide open is fabulous ..
Mine has been opening and closing since I've had it with out a hitch or have had a drop of water coming through it.
