You can fix your problem by using an external fuse. They sell them at walmart for one, connect it to the bus side that is hot and take the load side to the wire underneath. they make them to add accessories. Some will plug right in . Just make sure it is on when f11 is supposed to be hot. Mark it f11 .

Thats a good idea. I had just found the correct box and placed an order on ebay the day before I saw your post. Thanks for the tips. I still have the P0446, U2023, B1596, c1230 cel codes to work out in between my garage rebuild and framing my house. I'll get those fixed as soon as I have a little time to spare. Hopefully before it gets too cold.
F150 XLT 2007, 5.4 v3, recently rebuilt AT, 6 month old AC system (Compressor, drier, condensor, hoses etc.).
AC stopped blowing cold air 2 weeks ago and since then I have done the following:
Checked fuses inside the cab - all good
Check Relay in driver side engine compartment - all good, tested, but did buy a new one, just in case
Used a test light and checked all my grounds in the engine compartment (and a few others as well) - all good
Used a power probe and connected directly to the compressor and the clutch engaged.
Used a power probe on the connector on the wiring harness going to the compressor. Prostive all good, negative/ground intermittent.
I have now split the ground wire from the wiring harness connector and connected it directly to the ground point G104 (per the wiring diagram) and the AC is back in business.
I might be off, but I am thinking there is something wrong with the ground in my wiring harness; any suggestions on what to do next? how to find my ground fault or what ever else the issue could be?
The clutch relay in fender box is controlled by the pcm - it supplies a ground if it thinks everything okay . The pcm looks at pressure switches on freon and engine temp as well as anything else it decides could damage engine . So that is why your ground is missing . A frequent failure item is cly head temp under intake . You don't run ac if engine already too hot .
almost all items are controlled by switching grd , cops ,injectors pats system, fuel pump - etc. So you are not curing the problem just bypassing the controls .
