2017 F-250 Super Duty 6.2
I keep getting a P0301 or 0300 code from time to time. What could be causing this?
Also I tow a 33' bumper pull camper, when I was towing this past vacation I noticed the check engine light will flash when it down shifts from 4th to 3rd trying to pass, but when I tow with the "haul mode" on it doesn't not come on at all. I was towing up a steep upgrade with it in "haul mode" and it never flashed. Could someone point me in the direction of what my problems could be?

Reason: Left something out
Apparently you have a gas engine truck, going by the codes.
Could be bad plug wires, bad plugs, bad coil packs, harness issue.
P0301 indicated cylinder 1, start there.
Depending on your mileage but probably a coil pack on cylinder 1 (hence P0301) and the P0300 is for random misfires. You can try servicing it with a ~$10 rebuild kit. New ones are ~$150 each from Motorcraft or Napa
